  • Reading

I've been reading more recently.  During and just after our vacation, I finished off Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance. This book was so much different than I was expecting.  I was expecting more about Zen and not at all this idea of Quality.  And except for some slogging in the middle, I found it quite interesting.  I'd like to make some of ideas part of my functioning, but that we'll see.

I also read the last two Harry Potter books again for the first time since they came.  Now that leaves only the fifth book that I haven't reread.  I really enjoyed them, especially Book 7 that I thought was a bit too much to slog through the first time around.

And I just started Supernatural by Graham Hancock.  I love the coincidences that take place when ever I start reading one of his books.  Not only is the first part about Pech Merle that we visited a few years about, but just the other night there was a documentary on Arte that was talking about cave paintings in western Europe.

And the book that I just finished and was a lot of fun was the second volume of Mes voisins les Yamada (My Neighbors the Yamadas).  I just love these characters.  A nice bit of light reading.
